Mosey · Terms of use · 3 September 2026

Please read this before your first walk.

Mosey is made by Alexis Rondeau, an individual developer in Berlin, Germany. By installing or using Mosey you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the app.

Mosey controls a motorized machine

A walking pad or treadmill is a motorized machine. Mosey starts it, changes its speed and incline, pauses it and stops it over Bluetooth, on a schedule you arm and can end at any time. That means the belt can start moving while you are standing on it, and it will change pace during a walk. You are responsible for using your pad safely:

Bluetooth can drop. If the connection is lost mid-walk, the pad continues at its last commanded speed until its own controls or its own safety features stop it. Mosey cannot stop a pad it is no longer connected to.

Not medical advice

Mosey is not a medical device and offers no medical advice. Walking pads are not suitable for everyone. If you have a heart condition, balance or joint problems, are pregnant, or have any doubt about whether walking on a treadmill is safe for you, talk to a doctor before using Mosey. Stop immediately if you feel pain, dizziness or discomfort.

No warranty

Mosey is provided as is, without warranty of any kind. Mosey speaks the standard Bluetooth Fitness Machine Service, and which pads support it is decided by their makers and can change between firmware versions. The compatibility list on this site is our best knowledge, not a guarantee. We do not promise that Mosey will work with your pad, that it will be free of errors, or that it will be available at all times.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Alexis Rondeau is not liable for any injury, loss or damage arising from the use of Mosey or of any walking pad or treadmill controlled through it, including injury from a belt starting, changing speed or stopping, from a lost connection, from a pad’s own malfunction, or from use contrary to the pad manufacturer’s instructions. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for Mosey. Nothing in these terms limits liability for intent, gross negligence, or injury to life, body or health where such limits are not permitted under German law.

Mosey is an independent app. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or otherwise connected to any maker of walking pads or treadmills.
