In reply to @SpringStreetNYC · Nov 19, 2025Tired and zonked but happy that I, we, did this. Took us 10 years for cleaning up 81 years of family history and secrets and taboos and resentments. And blind spots. Never underestimate blind spots and the "operators" of the system that hide in them ;)

A heuristic for blind spots that's worked well for me:
"Trust your feelings, question your thinkings."
(Ahem, and yes, that's "thinkings", not "thinking" because I needed a better word. I'm also very proud of the whole thing)
