Early idea
Getting rich quick people on Algorand are super annoying
- “HODL”, Rocket emojis, “This is the way” and other WSB bullshit
- Super uncreative
- They just want to become rich by not doing anything – how boring
- Regarding Governance, they’re the ones who fret about Whales taking too much control
- They fear loss of control without taking active steps
- Those that got life-changing rich with Bitcoin were those that really got into it when NO ONE (including myself) believed in it
Here’s how I think this will work for the common investor:
If your personal financial freedom is the goal and you believe that ALGO is the best way to get there BUT governance and all those holders of millions of tokens give you a feeling of loss of control THEN FOCUS on what you CAN CONTROL. You want riches and wealth? Well, CREATE WEALTH[^1]. You can CREATE WEALTH with Algorand. Your votes will probably matter very little but you can see and use Algorand for what it really is: A resource – In fact, one of the most powerful resources ever given to mankind: A deep space and, more importantly, a deep time platform that gives you to Access to infinity.
By buying Algorand tokens today at $0.1 - $2.0 you basically bought extremely cheap compute/storage TIME as if you were “investing”/pre-buying months and years of capacity/potential on Heroku back in 2009.
So, what should you do?
